Can anyone explain how I purchase something through paypal. I have only ever used it via ebay and it is made very user-friendly on ebay.
Someone is going to sell me something via paypal but I just need to know what the process is, and what info is safe and/or necessary to send them - eg they have asked for my email address.
Hope this is clear.

Thanks.

They will send you an invoice to your email address, most likely. Then you just follow the link and pay for it same as you do on EBay. Shouldn't be too hard, hope it goes well!

Thanks - although I have a personal email address and use another for paypal so which do I give them?
What I mean is, do they send the invoice by email or do I log into paypal and do it from there?
If you log into your paypal account there is a button that says "make a payment" or similar wording, click on that, and it will ask the email account of the person you wish to pay, and the amount. It will also ask for a reference, eg ebay payment, payment for goods etc. Print off a receipt for your own records.
