Cant access second page on websites

Very often I am able to open a website but then don't seem able to open the next page.
For example I can open answerbank but when I click on eg one of the unanswered posts on the right hand side, I get a message saying that Internet Explorer was not able to open the page. It is infuriating!!!
Each time I click on 'diagnose problem' and it runs a check but each time it comes back saying that it cant find any problems. It suggests clicking Refresh, check spelling etc but none of that helps.
Can anyone suggest what the prob could be?

Internet Explorer is the problem! The scripts on many websites aren't very compatible... I changed to Google Chrome (get it free on the internet) and these problems have stopped.

Thanks. Was the problem intermittant for you too bushbaby? That is what I couldn't understand.
Does anything else change if I move to Google Chrome?

yes it was intermittent dependent upon web traffic etc but it has pretty much gone now. google chrome is a very similar layout but you will have to set an favourites and bookmarks up again. keep IE somewhere on your computer though as some websites will only run through it for some reason!
