what are your views and experiences on friday 13th

October 13 was the day that King Philip II of France got the warrant for the arrest of the Knights Templar and the seizure of their wealth and land. The vast majority of the knights escaped into places like Switzerland Scotland the Middle East and Spain because they were well liked amongst the nobility. Philip is believed to have arrested them due to the overwhelming debt he inherited to the knights. The Pope had no choice because he fled Rome when the Holy Roman Empire invaded and was residing in Marsellie if I remember correctly. But the point is that the Pope was a ward of France and could very easily be executed if he did not serve Philip.

My computer has lost each day's work over the last two days.

I have had to starve since yesterday lunchtime because I have had a barium enema today. The laxative they give you makes you think you might void your pelvis if your bowels don't stop rollercoastering, so no, this Friday 13 has not been a great one for me!
