does anyone know about dedi's famous decapitation trick? he was an egyptian magician who pulled the heads off animals and then restored them alive again. i just want to know how he did it.

I've seen this trick broken down and explained on a "magic revealed" program.

The conjurer in question would use birds, i.e doves or chickens.  With these bird you can manipulate their head to fold back and under the wing .. as this is done the conjurer would produce, by slight of hand, a prosthetic/stuffed head of the bird .... thus giving the impression that the bird has been decapitated ....
