Sitting about in my dressing-gown and then making two individual steak pies with roasties and yorkshires................
The weather here is sunny but cold. We are having roast beef too, but I'm not planning on a walk, unless it's round the pub.
Morning David!
Bit quiet on here this morning!! Nothing more exciting than a clean up! Was out yesterday so tidying up got neglected. My washing machine has given up too, no worries, at least I got most of the washing done.

It's really warm here. I'm having roast beef too then suppose to be going to a party. We will see closer to the time....
Probably bacon and eggs when I can get out of bed. I only got back from Edinburgh last night and I wasn't feeling 100% when I left, now I'm back, this cold has turned really quite nasty. I suspect I'll be spending most of the day in bed.
i am attenpting a serious beef curry, by that I mean i have only ever made one beef curry before and it was awful, i need advice!!! i only have to cook the beef and then put the jar of sauce in it, but I am not sure how to do that!!! lol
Brown the beef with some a chopped red onion, red pepper and ground corriander seeds in oil (corriander seeds optional I guess). Pour in the sauce and add chopped mushrooms and leave to simmer for about 15 minutes. Pretty easy with the sauce... Just read the back of the pack and you should be golden.
depends on the cut of beef though china, you might be a bit tough if is stewing steak, you amy want to leave it a lot longer,, but leave the mushroomout till near the end (or just throw them in the bin)
*it might be a bit tough*

oh i'm monging today currently watching 'last chance to see' - bloody good series and how much weight has stephen fry lost???
Noooo... mushrooms should go in a curry and/or a chilli... No idea why but I like them in there! You're right about the beef cuts though, good call!
I made choux pastry cream buns which I'm gonna question about next.
I have peppers in, yellow red and green frozen ones already sliced, i can't eat red onions as they give me a rash and 2 of them don;pt like mushrooms, it's cubed best beef and so i thought i should cook it for quite a time actually.
What about normal onions? I just have a preference for red onioins is all. Get the two of them to pick mushrooms out and tell them they'll get what they're given! (Or alternatively don't put them in at all as Fluffy suggested, again, it's a personal preference that I have so not essential).
yes i have plain onions , frozen diced ones lol!!!!
You lazy blighter! Lol... ;0P
It's just so much easier when I'm working til 8pm to come home and have stuff already prepared! Plus if the other lot are on dinner duty they don't moan as much when the prep is done!
Planning to make a carbonara thing this evening which I wish to be tasty.
