as a matter of interest what if a lady was standing in a bar and a smart black guy came over and asked her to meet for dinner date one day and she replied "no thanks i only go for white guys" ,would that be a case for racial discrimination if so --

no, its her right to be attracted to who she is attracted to, maybe she would rephrase it as a polite refusal rather than say "sorry I only like white guys"

same would apply if she was not attracted to men who were short, bald, tall, hairybespectacled, fat, thin ect ect....

but if they was insisted to why she wasn't interested in both cases
.. and those with knowledge, versus those without ;o)
she could tell them it has nothing to do with them, her reasons!
why would they insist? I would be unnerved if a guy demanded an explantation as to why I was not interested.....

if he is not her type, he is not her type. that happens to all people/races and sexes
I doubt the guy would go to the police...he'd be the laughing stock of the station if he said he wanted to press charges because she refused a date, even if it were because of his colour. Lets face it, it wouldn't do for us all to be attracted to the same type. However, I agree, a simple no thanks should be suffice, but if he was insistant on a reason and you told him, then thats his hard luck. My motto...always make sure you really want to know the answer before asking the question.
