I have a male friend who says that men whose grilfriends stop having sex with them should leave them, or if they are married, should invite him to go elsewhere for his sex. He also says that he gets physical pain if he doesn't get enough sex. He left his last girlfriend (of 10 years) because she stopped wanting to have sex with him. He is now single, but is sleeping with a girl who has a boyfriend of 7 years who she lives with. He maintains he is single, and it is just mates sex.
I find all this very difficult to understand. Is he right? Is he just being very honest?

I suppose he's being honest, though it doesn't stop him being a git!

He left his girlfriend of 10 years because she wouldn't have sex? He didn't bother to find out why? And physical pain because of lack of sex? Oh please...lol
Sounds like a typical pain in the butt.
He'll end up sad and lonely and it'll serve him right - the sexist pig!
It's just his opinion, some men wouldn't agree with him and certainly most women wouldn't! I would be more worried about the girl he's sleeping with, she's the one that's cheating!
karenmac60: How exactly is he being sexist? Sounds more like you are have the sexist attitude.
at least his honest.but really he should have had a bit of consoideration for the girld and tried to find out why she had gone off sex... i`ve had mate bonks some times it really works out well when both of you are under no false illusion, and yes there is such a thing as physical pain if you dont have sex, goggle blue balls.
here you are for all you non believers you really must be woman

If you want sex and your partner doesn't, it can be difficult to keep the relationship going; it's a pretty fundamental point to disagree on. I'm not sure why everyone's assuming he hasn't tried to talk about it with the woman in question, but whether he has or not it's perfectly possible that separating is the best thing for both of them.

Most men do know how to take themselves in hand sufficiently to avoid blue balls, however.
In reply to Beso - he seems to be assuming women are only there for sex. He was perfectly willing to end a long established relationship and to use another girl for his 'needs'. What about love? Companionship? All the other things we get from a relationship? Maybe it's not exactly sexist, but it's not exactly gentlemanly either is it?
If your partner/wife wants a celibate relationship that is fine and acceptable, as long as she doesn't expect you to do the same.

I think if there's a fundamental thing that people in a relationship can't agree on, then it's perfectly reasonable that they should split up. Sex seems to be pretty fundamental, and it's obviously important to this person, so why shouldn't it be a reason to split up?
I suspect if it was the other way around and it was the woman that didn't think she was getting enough attention you angry ladees would be a whole lot more sympathetic, instead of just telling her to stop being so selfish and get used to living like a nun for the sake of the relationship.
if he was a real man he wound find out why his partner didnt want sex and fix the problem till his partner wanted to. By the sounds of your mate im not suprised she stoped sleeping with him. This is probably her way of getting to him. He is a joke. No man.
Sex for a woman (IMHE) is great till she gets knackered by demands of children - often the reason for her wanting sleep. When kids have flown nest & home is just for the pair....it's then the woman flourishes again.

If OH cant respond then split but look for reasons first.
