Hi,

I won a watch on Saturday and can't decide if it is a cheap market watch or an expencive one in disguise!!

If anyone can give me a pointer I would be grateful.

It is a man's watch with a black leather strap with NGK Under the 12

The outer caseing turns clockwise and has 5 . 15 . 25 . 35 . 45 . 55 . on it.

I suspect it is not a great watch (the cheap plastic case is a bit of a givaway) and we can't even figure out how to get it going!!!

Sounds to me like a freebie, maybe advertising something like NGK sparkplugs, in much the same way as you can get Coca Cola watches, etc. Check online for any NGC name company logos to see if they match the lettering on your watch. If so, it is likely to be of reasonable quality, since they wouldn't want to be assocoaited with a rubbish product.
