chocolate in chillie

i've just made an enormous chillie and put 3 squares of 70% plain choccie in it..... and by jove, it's lovely!
anyone else put chocolate in a chillie, and if so, how much do you put in? i wasn't sure so just bunged what i though in and hoped for the best.

Yeah I do. It really makes a difference doesn't it? I would probably use 4-5 squares in my huge pot.

Like you i put 3 to 4 70% dark chocolate in a largish chillie what a difference it makes seems to balance and mellow it

If you haven't any chocolate you can try a teaspoon of coffee granules!!

if you ever get the chance visit the chilli farm in suffolk chillies ,chocolate every thing chilli breads jam ice creams fantastic

Choc and chilli are great partners - have you tried the bar of choc with chilli? I think Lindt make it. Lovely stuff - takes a minute to kick in yum yum.
