How will 2010 be pronounced? Twenty-ten, two thousand ten or two thousand and ten? What are people in the UK saying? I've heard the Canadians mention the twenty - ten olympics so will this be universal?

Well, in 1910 we said NINETEEN TEN , and for 1066 we said TEN SIXTY SIX , so I'm expecting TWENTY TEN, although I suppose it's not consistent with saying TWO THOUSAND AND NINE in 2009.

Twenty Ten will be most popular I think, and it follows the tradition of Nineteen Ten, Eighteen Ten, etc.

saying 20-10 (twenty ten) doesnt make sense to me, thats the same as saying 20-09 (twenty nine) now! if this year is 2009 (two thousand and nine then next year is 2010 (two thousand and ten)!!

aims, what didn't make sense was switching from the nineteen ninety-nine to two thousand and not twenty hundred (as in 1900 nineteen hundred). It seems that with so many different answers everybody will just choose what the want to say until one becomes a fashion!
