Hi have just moved into a new house, the problem is the outside vent for the tumble dryer is on the opposite side to our machine, the question is do we have to fill the hole in and have new hole in the wall? or is there something we can buy to get round this? thanks
We have flexible hose, but the gap for the tumble dryer is between two cupboards, so the hose gets bent up when you push it back, at the moment i have to pull the machine out into the kitchen when i want to use it!
Can you shorten hose so it does not kink and perhaps take grid off outer wall to guide shortened hose into hole then replace grid. Hope this makes sence.
I have a condensing dryer and I don't have to put water in (!) so I don't know what docspock means! You have to empty the water tray once the load has dried but that's no big deal.
For goodness sake if you are going to answer get your facts right first or this site becomes usleless!
You are confusing a Condenser dryer with a washer/dryer.
A condenser dryer pumps the wet exhaust throgh a condenser - like a radiator inside. The humid air condenses and is fed to a removable tank. You just empty it now and again.
