no mot and sorn declared when car still on the road
so one of my friendly neighbours have phoned the police on me for parking my car infront of my house (on the road) with no tax or mot i had declared sorn but left the car sitting as it was sold and i was waiting for the car to be collected so i have now been charged with no tax and no mot what penilty will i recive the officer said i will get a ine from dvla for tax but i might not get anything from fiscal for mot if anyone can let me know what to expect that would would be great

However, this link says if you a buy a vehicle that is SORN, the SORN comes to an end the day you buy the vehicle. You should have a record of this date and the sale in your My eBay section.
