Holidays to Gran Canaria Over Xmas

Hello All,
Me and my fella ( aged 22 & 23 ) are going to Gran Canaria over the christmas period flying out on the 20th and returning the 27th

I remember going to Turkey in October and the place was deserted in some places, bars and restaurants boarded up ect. Just wondering if anybody can tell me how busy gran canaria will be over christmas. We are staying in playa del ingles.

the Canaries are basically a year-round tourist resort, unlike the Turkish coasts, which are seasonal. It will almost certainly be heaving... if that's what you want.

I know, its my christmas present off my fella, he is in the army at the moment doing his training so we dont get to see each other very much so this holiday will be brilliant, really looking forward to it :)
