afcjan, we went every night to a bar in the same row as the hotel,the street ran down to the front near the promenade where the church is up at one end. I don;t remember the name but it had a wicked dry ice machine!!!! there was a pizzaria in the square down some steps too that we spent alot of time in chatting up the waiters!!! tehre were 4 of us and we were all mad and tended to frighten the locals lol

tambo.....there are 2 parts of a Cremation Certificate to be signed if the body is to be cremated.

The attending Dr. signs the first part and an independent Dr. signs the second part.

As Junior Drs we were paid £5 as it was then (probably £50 now) to sign the second part. We all agreed to put it into a fund, to buy booze for our parties and it was named ASH CASH.
