Has anyone ever seen Edna Birch without her hat? I was watching the New Years episode and she woke up with a hangover and she still had the hat on. I know accessories can become an essential part of a character but is that taking it to extremes?

......or Zac without his hat! I actually think that Edna Birch has to remain in character froggequene - the actress who plays her (can't remember her name) is amazingly attractive with thick blonde hair! She was interviewed recently and we could not believe it was the same person.

Have you ever seen the actor who plays Sam Dingle in his civvies? It's difficult to believe it's the same guy.

She was in casualty once without her hat if that counts. Her hair's not what I expected, it's quite long. Apart from that, I don't think we'll ever see her without her hat unless there's a big storyline about it

That actress appeared in the first series of "Keeping Up Appearances". Believe it or not she was the first actress to play Hyacinth's tarty sister - you know the one in leather! Another actress took over the role. I believed she died a year or two ago.
