Anyone know why Hugh Simon (Malcolm in Spooks) had to leave (temporarily I hope) the series?...not to have a baby like *Ruth* now happily back, but why...it don't seem the same without him. Ta Muchly.

Yep - he'd had enough and couldnt do it any more . I loved the character too. Spooks is great at the moment - thoroughly enjoying it

Yes Quiz and Peri, I know what Malcolm said to Harry, but the character wasn't killed off, so there's the hope that he will come back, same as Ruth has - I just wondered if the actor had had enough of the role or what?...and some of the earlier series were better; in my opinion, which dunner count for much anyway! Come back Malcolm you misguided person you.

Loving Spooks at the moment too! That American female agent is just fab, the way she chucked her boss over the balcony was a classic tv moment!! Think Richard Armitage has lost his looks a bit though this series.

yes rainhopper, I said to the wife that someone is going to go over that balcony any moment as soon as they showed how deep the pit went down, but I expected it to be her and not her boss. There must be a good story line coming up.
