What are the educational, licensing or certification requirments for your profession?
What is the scope of your pratice?
What are your profession's primary responsibilities?

It might be worth giving your local hospital a call anyway and asking if they would mind answering a few questions - although you might have a better chance if you are happy to speak to a nurse or therapist (physio or OT) rather than a doctor. If that doesn't work, you could always look at the websites for the professional bodies - that might give you some help. For physio, the website is www.csp.org.uk, for OT, it is www.cot.co.uk and for nursing it is www.rcn.org.uk Good luck with your class.
