Georgian Style 15-Light Door

I have purchased an untreated glazed door - knotty pine effect. I want to hang it in a wall between my projected new fitted kitchen and fitted utility room, both to be clad in beech effect chamfered doors, drawers and panels. My family think it should be painted white, like other (solid) doors leading off these rooms, whereas I reckon it would enhance the overall picture if I stain it in a light beech tone. Has anyone - an interior designer maybe! - any advice: it will be warmly welcomed. Thank you.
