fascism lives on in Italy

Knoxy update ...
The Italian authorities are taking action against Knoxy's parents because they said Amanda had been badly treated.
Who is running Italy? Is Mussolini still there?
Imagine if the UK authorities took action against everyone who was rude about them.
There'd be nobody left on the streets.
So, Italy proves to be the last remaining fascist dictatorship in the EU ...
You dare to speak out against the Authorities? We will take action against you!
We should cut Italy off at the Dolomites, and let the whole stupid country float off to the South Pole.
Except the bits where I go skiing, obviously.
And the bit where my B/F's parents have a house.
But all the rest of it.
Oh, and maybe Venice. That's quite nice.
But then, Venice is not attached to the mainland, so it would probably stay where it was.
Oh, and the bit where they grow Pinot Grigio ... Veneto, or something. That had better stay.
So, just bits of Italy to be chopped of and set adrift.
Especially Perugia.

You seem very calm about Police faking evidence.
Is that how Police investigations should happen ???
As to the Jury ... they are probably terrified.
The Police have admitted that they are prepared to lie to achieve their ends.
The Police ... the Italian authorities ... and the families of the Jury members ... a scary mix.
If I was on that Jury, I would be afraid to go against the authorities.
I might say "Guilty" and leave them to Appeal ...
At least my family would not find themselves being arrested the following day, with magical "evidence" suddenly appearing against them.
