Hyacinths
I bought a pot with three hyacinth bulbs in it. The instructions say that once they have flowered, to remove the stalks and plant in the garden and they will flower again in the spring. I don't want to plant them in the garden at the moment as we will be having the garden 'done' early next year. What can I do with them for the time being please? As you can tell, I am not a gardener!

I wait until the leaves rot and turn brown then I cut them off (but not before then) and just put the pots away in the shade somewhere during the summer and every year they just pop back up again.. I have noticed that most of the pots from last year have shoots coming through the soil already..Although Hawkwalk says they wont flower next year- mine have flowered every year since I bought them for the last 3 years - as I say I just leave them in the pots.in the soil - this includes - tulips - daffs - hyacinths - narcissus - iris -.
