E-Mail in Outlook Express

A friend cannot open "new" e-mails, although he can open "old" ones. Windows XP & latest version of IE. Any suggestions?

Try clicking 'reply'. I've found that sometimes opens the e-mails when this happens. Mind you, I wasn't using IE, but the same principle might apply.

The answer to this "problem" was mind-boggling simple. New e-mails could not be received because the in-box was astonishingly full, literally hundreds of e-mails. Deleting several pages of "old" e-mails solved the problem by releasing "space" in the in-box.
