Facts are emerging about WBM's mystery absence.

In the small hours of Sunday morning ...

... following a domestic argument

(Mrs WBM accused waterboatman of spending too much time attending to his home made parsnip wine)

WBM (known to his friends as "Tiger")

... emerged from his home

in Beverly Hills, Gloucestershire

hotly pursude by Mrs WBM ... wielding a golf club.

Mr tigerboatman boarded his canal boat, and set off

... towards the Heritage Centre.

Not far from the boat house, Mr tigerboatman ...

... hit a tree

(which he had not expected to find on the canal !)

Mrs tigerboatman thereupon set about the boat

with the golf club ...

... smashing several windows

(and knocking over a glass of carrot brandy).

Mr tigerboatman has declined to make a statement ...

... to SportsAnswerBank.

The weather is reported to be "overcast"
