Freesat (Text)

Hi, I am really enjoying Freesat but the only channel i can get Text/press the red button for news etc is BBC yet ch4 last night said for more info press the red button, nothing happens, the only channel i get the red button on is BBC, am i doing something wrong ? Thank you, allgram.

I'm pretty sure that's just if you are using a sky box.

Hi Postdog, my receiver is a Grundig and i have read it but still cannot receive anything other than BBC. thanks allgram.

You missed my point. Sky boxes are attached by phone line, so can get info that way. They are usually used for voting etc. I don't have Freesat, but Freeview, and that's the same as you describe. BBC has a red button but nothing happens if I press that on any other channel.
