new BBCTV sitcom Big Top
17 Answers
it's been a long wait for a good new tv sitcom...and the wait goes on. This is Big Rot. Queen Of Botox Amanda Holden is terribly wooden and hammy - the female equivalent of Kwame Kwei Armah. A star-studded cast maybe, but an utterly unfunny 'comedy'. Did anyone like anything about it?

Quite how this load of rubbish got onto our screens, and was passed by the BBC commissioning editors is anyones guess.
I suppose if there are complaints about it we will be told "oh,sorry it's a spoof of (very old) sitcoms, didn't you realise that?"
What is even worse is,it is on at a near peak viewing time,AND it's a wate of some very good TV actors.
BTW,it was strange to see Eileen's B/f from Corrie (John Thomson) as the clown,of course he is a clown in Corrie too!
Hopefully someone may take this dire travesty off (there are 5 more episodes) before too long!
