If they're threatening to walk if they don't get their bonuses, it seems to imply that they don't have legal recourse to obtain their ill-gotten gains (or surely they'd use the courts?). Let 'em walk - they screwed up in their jobs, why should they get rewarded for it?
If any other bank is looking to pay millions for someone whose decision-making could run them into the ground, I may be able to help them out...
