after a family fall out...

Today I have been reunited with my brother !
I'ts sad really because there was no row or anything, just a difference of opinion, me being the youngest of 5 siblings , was always thought of as 'spoilt' and I was.... so a lot of jealousy was incurred, but when you get older and go your seperate ways...it seems all so trivial, and age brings with it, an understanding of other peoples feelings, does anyone else think that when a Mum dies, the catalyst of the family goes with her?
I am so pleased to have spoken to my brother on the phone today, I hope this is the start of a very good New Year for both of us.

It is sad Bobbi when there are Family fallouts....it's only when they have died that you have the biggest regrets.
It's then a case of 'If only I had'...or 'If only they had' buried the hatchet.
You will always have your memories and that can never be taken away.....
I hope not steg,I quite like noknow and i'd have to get him banned (for reasons I don't want to go into) if he turned out to be my brother.lol

me too Maizie, I know that I won't ever see her again, she's now in her very late 70s, we are the closest which is odd as she was married when I was only 3 yrs old, she lived in Kent all of her life, she too married an RAF man, she didn't even talk like me, yet we are the closest...odd !
that's it, noknow i went typed the Chinese way
That's a real shame Bobbi. Can't you visit her? My Sis was over in April this year as my Mum is going downhill fast with dementia and I wanted her to see my Sis before she forgot who she was. Really upset my Sis seeing Mum so bad! Where about's in NZ is your Sis?
Hi Bobbi,

That is good news and I am really really pleased for you.

I am at present not talking to my brother and season of goodwill or not, I refuse to.

she's in the North Island Maizie beside Wellington, I think that kind of trip would take a lot of planning, I do know she is very active in Charity work where she lives and works non-stop for the Salvation Army finding people who have lost touch

I;m the nothing child. Redcrx being the eldest, my lil sis being yougest, my bro being the only boy. Please tell me in your family of 5 children was there a nothing child? :-(
Question Author
I suppose thats why there was jealousy between my brother and me 4get, he probably felt that way too
My Sis is on the South Island near Nelson. She's been there 5 years and loves it. She does a lot of charity work, I wont go into details as it sounds really gruesome to me ! She's 16 years younger than me so still in her prime!
but was he the only boy? Or the middle child. I never felt jealous, mum and dad have always treated us equal
Question Author
No 4get, we had an older brother who was serving in the army when we were born, such is the age difference, so I guess he felt he was too young to be with the other three and too old to relate to me, something I will never know
Our family parties/get togethers usually end up with acts of physical violence vibra.lol
There are some very deep seated issues between most of us,especially me and the 3rd one in my list!!!
