Anyone know the correct oil for an 09 plate Passat 2.0 TDI Bluemotion? Mine needs oil but I need to be on the road before the local dealership opens tomorrow. TIA

you must do an awful amount of miles to want oil in your car already my passat hardly uses any oil at allmaybe 1/2 ltr per yr if that.. are you sure you are reading the dip stick correctly.. the oil should be between the 2 bobbly bits on the stick if you've got decent eyesite you can m,ake out min and max.. don't over fill it..

Thanks All, yes I do travel a fair few miles. It's done 17.5k in 6 months so far and the service indication started coming on this week! I got some 5w30 as suggested £53 for 4 litres. Good job it's a job car and not my own!
