Something like this? Three (number) Luke (saint) bus (transport) sine (curve) and some repetition and plurals - but the clue doesn't seem to give an indication of the final answer.

Number is the definition.

Saint THERESA "detailed" = THERES. Numbers = NOS around BUS and SINES.

I can't really explain the LIKE SHOW BUSINESS however.

I think I've got it now.

I agree with Theres(a) being the saint detailed. Then numbers = nos, with practical = "business like" included, making "Theres no business like s". Then method = how, and transport around curves is bus around sines.

There's No Business Like Show Business.
