DEcompression (previously answered) is a familiar word. Is there a case for REcompression, which is to counter the effects of decompression?
Not the best clue of all time. I don't like a clue in plural for answer in singular.

I would say Decompression is correct as in the Force of Air (pressure) being reduced (Cut Back)
