They are typically the signs of iron deficiency anaemia and also pernicious anaemia........so she should have a Full Blood Count.

Vitamin deficiencies are far less common than the above two conditions.

It's not lichen planus - no white patches

Sqad, that could be it. She is a dialysis patient recovering from an infection and has just finished antibiotics. She has barely eaten for a week and has a poor diet at the best of times with restricted potassium and phosphate foods
