I have missed a bit and have no idea what's going on with Whitney and the court thing and strange man ringing her.

Can anyone fill me in?

The strange man is Tony, Bianca's ex, who was carrying on a very manipulative affair with an underage Whitney. When it was discovered, everyone assumed it was him taking advantage of her and she was too scared to tell them the truth. Even when she did try to tell the truth, the adults thought she was just covering up because she was still scared of him. Since it happened, he's been locked up on remand.

Not sure whether Whitney's finally going to see the light before the trial is out, though.

As awful as it sounds, I just wish that Whitney (the character, not the actress) would get written out of the show. When this storyline was going on earlier in the year, it got tedious, and now it is back again.

Now she is of legal age, whats the betting that she drives off into the sunset with Tony. Anything is possible on Eastenders.
