Christmas Goodies

Hi all.

Are there any particular goodies that you like to have in your cupboards during the festive period, that you wouldn't normally buy at any other time of the year?

I simply have to have a tub of M&S Roasted Jumbo Cashews, an epicurean collection of continental cheeses and pates and plenty of the old vino. Oh, and I am rather partial to dark chocolate marzipan bars at this time of year.....

Hot mince pies and ice cream....lovely.

Big tin of sweets for the gatherings we have.

I do like those orange and lemon jelly fruit sweets shaped as segments, they are yummy!

brandy snaps

Ooh yes zzxxee - filled with fresh cream. And probably a noggin or two of stem ginger.

I tried to make my own brandy snaps once - very successful & quite easy - but time consuming. Best to buy & just pretend one made them oneself.
