Brilliant! My friend, a priest dying of MND, also asks for help - "...a few years ago someone showed me a quote comparing dying with being born. It might have been by Henri Nouwen or Jean Vanier." Or someone else - any ideas, anyone? The AnswerBank is so helpful.

I don't know where the Bunyan connection comes from (misprint?). I know it as a quote from John Buchan, <i>Greeenmantle</i.
