This might sounds like a stupid question but I'm selling my car and I don't know what to right on the posters I'm going to put in the window. What should I put?

I assume you mean a poster to put in the window of the car:

Make, model, year of reg, milage, it's service history, eg FSH = Full service history. Features such as Air con, alloys, sunroof etc etc. Taxed/MOT till....

Most important is PRICE and contact details.

You don't need to put the make and model of the car in a poster in the car window if it's clearly badged anyway.

People want to know MOT lengths and insurance groups and service history (if any).

They also want something for nothing so decide on how much you want let the car go for and add around �75 on top of that so they get a bargaining aspect if they want it.  Stick to your guns and never reveal "the lowest you'd take on it" or that's what they'll give you.

There will be many tyre kickers and people that want it "just for the tax" and all that but stick to your guns and if they spend ten minutes asking the toss about a knocking �10 more off the price then they are clearly wasting time.

I suggested make and model because it's not always clear what model and people will never call to ask something so it just means if they call they are at least slightly interested. I mean how many ads have you seen without a price???
