Based on online ovulation calculators such as http://www.ovulation-calculator.org/ , you are considered fertile up to 3 days before ovulation. So, your chances of getting pregnant if you have sex 4-5 days before ovulation is quite low, although not impossible.

Thanks for the reply and also the link, i find it useful.
We've been trying for 2 months. i was confused when my nxt ovulation will be because my period is irregular, from 33-36 days, so last month assumed it was the day was my ovulation but i was wrong because period came bit later than i thought. So how do you track ovulation? CM? Are the temp reliable? Thinking of getting one. Thanks
