Having problems connectimg this to the internet as it keeps telling me im timed out. Help Plz.

Are you trying to connect via your computer?After many a 'happy'hour spent trying to do this,I read that you cannot connect your psp to the internet via your computer.My sons argument was along the lines of well why the heck does it connect to a pc in the first place and we both found this confusing-ie why not connect.I think maybe I am getting to old for this!In the end,connected wirelessly,I didnt even know our router was wireless till then.
