Interview Tests
I have an interview with JD Wetherspoons coming up and have been told that the day will involve both a numeracy and verbal aptitude test, I understand the numeracy will be a math test, but can anyone tell me what the verbal will be about, I have emailed the company twice to ask but i have had no response.
If anyone has any first hand experience of JD Wetherspoons interviews that would be very much appreciated...

Non-verbal is a combination of spacial and numerical reasoning. Vebal reasoning is questions like "Kitten is to cat as puppy is to .....". I realise it'll be harder than that - you're not 12 after all!!!! :-D Here is a better example than the one I gave! It's about word logic though - NOT speaking skills!!!!!!!!
It would make more sense if JDW tested conversational skills, but that's what the spoken interview will cover. The test is something different.
I hope someone who has had an interview can give you the inside view. :-) Good luck!
PS - Asking for the info demonstrates initiative - something many places will be impressed by!
