What are the 70s and 80s Porsche's goin for there?

I am in the US and my boyfriend is completely head over heels for the old Porsche 911/Carrera...he is dead set on having one in the next 2-3 years and it will be his baby! (I guess this already tells you, he's a car guy, and I'm definately fine with that)...so what are they goin for cost-wise in the UK now? Anyone else into these and has done some research lately?

Here, he is expecting to pay between $12,000-20,000....of course, depending on the year, make & condition...
