sandwiches

Any suggestions for sandwiches I can make up in advance and freeze for Christmas day.I saw some in Iceland but didn`t see what the fillings were.I guess some things will freeze better than others. They take time to do and it would be great just to defrost and serve !!

I wouldn't dream of making sandwiches in advance, then freezing them oxy - just in case nobody wanted any after being stuffed only a few hours before! We usualy have a light snack on Christmas night, you know cheese, biscuits, mince pies, etc, etc.
Save youself the trouble & enjoy yourself!

you can freeze sandwiches, i used to make a weeks worth for both of us when we worked and just took a pack out each day., you just have to be a bit choosy about the fillings - nothing with lettuce or tomato. bread freezes and defrosts well, and so do sandwiches :)
don't think i'd be bothered making a load now to have on christmas day though, we're all usually too stuffed to want much for tea on christmas day. each to their own though, if you think it'll save you some time then go for it.
