sticky problems

who else gets in a right state wrapping pressies, the sticky tape wants to stick to everything, my fingers the table, my sleeve even my hair, then when I met a friend going to the post box he pointed out that I had some tangled in my beard, I did get some on the pressies in the end but they look far from tidy, I have even worse bother with cling film, it never wants to stick to the dish but every thing else it touches it will grab like glue, my dear one says it's me being awkward, is it?

I used to until I learnt how to wrap gifts properly, I pre cut some sticky tape and have it stuck to the edge of the table in a big row, seems to work better for me :)

tried that last year and the tape took the paint off the edge of the table when i pulled it off, that was me in trouble again, I also got a thing to hold it but stupidly got the wrong make of tape, so it don't work.
