phobias

Am absolutely stumped as to the etymology of two phobias: merinthophobia and nelophobia. Have exhausted my research via Greek origins. Any help would be most gratefully appreciated. D.Moyle,esq.

Thanx for prompt reply. However, I already knew that nelophobia is the fear of glass and that merinthophobia is the fear of being bound or tied. This can be found almost anywhere. What I can't find and what my original enquiry asked, was what were the etymologies of these two words. In other words, what Greek or Latin or any other language root is involved to form the phobia's names. "Melody".
