Last 2 - one feeds into the other;
24d Tomas, 18th century poet & teacher from Quin, Co Clare - I think that it might be O'Criomhthain, but with the given spaces I have O??O?H??N - does anyone know an alternate spelling of his surname?
26a Makes a long-lasting wave in pools perhaps ?E?? (last letter is second letter of 24d, but if the C is right, I can't think what this is)
Many thanks
