burning dvd`s

hi,new to this but trying to burn a film i have downloaded off net to dvd rw disc.1st try went ok after asking if i wanted to drag files to new folder,it played on media player but not on dvd player.(did not burn on this atempt)2nd attempt,i tried the burn option but this would not play on either dvd or laptop.help! thanks.

You could try buying your films like most honest people.
