Not sure which Country you reside in Yvette, but the best natural remedy for dogs (and cats) with itchy skin is placing a small block (about 2 inches square) of sulphur in their drinking water. It's pale yellow in colour and has the texture/feel of very hard chalk. You can buy it in good pet shops and vetinary surgeries in the UK but as I say, without knowing where you are based I don't know if you could get hold of it. Possibly at a general pharmacy in the USA? Sadly many vets know this works just as well and often better than steroids without any of the side effects, but it costs pennies, and vets don't get rich quick by selling sulphur for pennies instead of steroids for Pounds (or perhaps Dollars in your part of the world?)

I hope Sir Galahad remains with you for many years to come.
