Lone worker just starting 12 hour shift, no screaming kids, no relatives to upset, no washing up , no presents your supposed to look pleased with, no hassle at all, ahhh bliss, and when I get home it's all over for another year. Christmas is not too bad after all. Moonraker.

Morning Moonraker. I couldn't sleep - ridiculously mild here on the Costa Blanca. I kept kicking the sheets off me all night. Anyway, bird is out of the fridge and aclimatising, will go in the oven at 10:30. Merry Christmas all. xx

I give up.. i'm outnumbered. LOL. Moonraker.
Yes, but Christmas here is lacking that certain je ne sais quoi.... Maybe the cold crispness of a British Winter's Day. :-(

I am determined to spend a Christmas in Austria or Switzerland.

Thats somewhere i also would love to visit. Moonraker
NoMercy.....Merry Xmas my love. Blue skies and sunny here in Menorca.
You mention Xmas outside of the U.K. One of the most Xmasy Xmases was in Singapore......children singing carols in the hotel and an International atmosphere of friendliness and goodwill.

Singapore is immaculately clean.

Have a good day NoM.

Hiya Sqad xx

If I look out the back I see the sea which is unbelievably calm. If I look out the front I see the mountains. Whichever direction I look, the sun is shining, the sky is blue and there is not a drop of breeze. Despite the 4 years I've lived in Spain, this is my first Christmas here. And the first time Alfie hasn't had to go into kennels. I'm sure I could get used to this :-)

Merry Christmas hun. x
