CD onto ipod

I had a new Westlife CD for Christmas and when I tried to put it into i tunes to install it onto my ipod it is only coming up with track 1, track 2 etc. Why am I getting no info ??

Are you connected to the internet when you import the CD? iTunes gets the CD info from the Gracenote database online

Yes I am connected to the internet. I tried with another CD and all the info came up but not with this one !!

The CD may not yet be on Gracenote then. It might be worth leaving for a week or two then trying again. Otherwise you can enter the details yourself by selecting the album tracks, clicking Get Info, then Info, then enter the track and album details

think u have to go on to where it say advanced click that then go down to get cd track names .try that .good luck

this happens occasionally. You can just fill in the details yourself (click on Track 1 etc, highlight and type over). Nuisance.
