uncles brother

is your uncles brother (could be any combination of aunt/uncle brother/sister) related to you properly, so that it has a name like uncle in law? or are they simply your uncles brother?

I'm just wondering, because i want to know if my mums, sisters, husbands brother is just my uncles brother or if the relation has a name such as uncle in law.

Your Mums, Sisters husband is your Uncle through marriage. His Brother is no relation to you.

oops, well he would have been, i forgot to say he was my uncle. I wanted to find the closest way of connecting him to me, ex-uncles brother or godfathers brother, which sounds closer.
