hi ALEC090  maybe you can answer this.planted up 2 hanging pouches of sweet peas, feed and deadhead regularly, but hardly anymore flowers..do you only get one show or have i done something wrong,my petunias are doing really well..only my third year at gardening and each time i amaze myself at the results..I planted all my stuff up feb/ march time, surely it doesn't matter if they are planted on early if they are kept inside until the frost has passed..

Hi lozzzz

Sweet peas actually need to be picked not just deadheaded. Pick the full blooms and put them in vases in your house for some wonderful fragrance. Other thing is they need copious amounts of water so they may be too dry, or even overfed. I planted mine out too late and now they're too dry so I don't think I'll be getting any this year :-(

Keep up the good work!

you may have been better to plant them in a large tub..and put canes up like a wigwam..keep them well fed and watered..mine are just coming to an end now i still have a few flowers but the rest have set pods..they have flowered since june so i cant complain..i dont think the weather has been over kind to plants this year..and the recent heat has made everything wilt and look old before its time..they do tell you to keep picking then you get more..i only picked a few as i wanted them for outside..
mine look fine but I haven't had a flower yet! I will pick constantly though as I love the colour and scent. It's true, the more you pick the more you get. Just like peas.
