Submitting meter readings a week early?
3 Answers
I have been looking at my electricity bill and it says that if you are planning to move house, you can submit your meter readings up to 7 days prior to your moving day.
Who pays for the power you use after you have submitted the readings? Does the supplier estimate how much you are going to use in your final week, and bill you for an estimated amount?

Tell your buyer what you intend to do and leave them a copy of the readings you take. Taking it at mid-day, or as close to it as possible, would seem the fairest option for all concerned.
