Morning seeks. xxx I'm usually up about now. The whole shebang is the entire thing, the total sum, that sort of thing It's chilly, but not sub zero at the moment. It rained most of yesterday, then in the afternoon it turned to snow, then it turned back to rain again. It's still raining now!
I'm fine thanks seeks. how about youself, all OK?

Right, now I'm with you - wasn't sure if you were referring to the Xmas season, the entire 2009, winter, or what exactly. Doing OK down here, though today's on the warmish side - I reckon about 38d now so she'll top the 40 mark today and tomorrow, but NYD looks like being cooler - just as well, no excuse to go on drinking !!!

Are you planning a wild night, Friday, or like us, turning in early and letting the New Year do it's own thing ??

The new year will arrive without any assistance from us seeks. The whole Christmas thing has lost it's meaning and just become a gigantic rip-off Can't be doing with it. (Grumpy old git!)
Mind you! Back in army days we had some wondrous parties! Not just new year, any excuse would do! ;-)

Mornin all. Just off to take daughter to airport as sh is off to France to visit friend to celebrate New Year. Then I am going ice skating at our tempoary ( real ) ice rink. I went on 11th Dec and was there as it opened for day and had rink totally to myself for 20 mins whilst big school party got booted and lectured. AND I only fell over once but got a huge round of applause from them. It was brill. Raining hard here and still mighty dark.

Morning WBM and all and yes the days of celebrating new year is not the same .Years and I mean years ago I lived in Scotland and we used to what we called First foot and took a lump of coal to that persons house, Bet you don't know what I am talking about but anyone from Scotland will. And there was always a pot of stovies made now work that one out.
